January - Rouen, France, is captured
August - Henry defeated the French fleet at the battle of the Seine
Henry was instrumental in ending the Great Schism

10th September - The Duke of Burgundy’s murder effects an alliance between Burgundy and England

21st May - The Treaty of Troyes named Henry as regent and heir to Charles VI of France
2nd June - Henry married Catherine of Valois, daughter of Charles VI of France
